Well doesn’t our ISP have the most evil tech support ever. My connection was dreadfully slow last week and right after blogging a couple of days ago it shut down completely.
So we called tech support, talked to them for a while, and gave them all the details, our phone number and address. They said they’d send someone over between 6 and 8 that evening.
The clock ticked away and no one called or arrived. When we rung them to find out where they were, we were told that no one had taken any record of our call. Guess being polite doesn’t get you anywhere, huh? My brother works in tech support in Melbourne, so we’d taken care to be as gracious as possible. With this call though we filed a complaint, and the superior told us that he’d look into it and get back to us. However, I doubt a whole lot will happen.
It’s all fixed now, they sent a man over today (late, of course) and he got things working again. But regardless of my new-found net speed, I remain one very unsatisfied customer!
