Hours without having a cigarette: 39
I’m now onto my second serious attempt to quit smoking, and doing a lot better than the first. I’m still stressed, busy as hell, stressed (did I say that already?), and obsessively chewing on things, but at least this time I’m not surprised by that.
Good job! My boyfriend quit smoking 5 months ago… he was an obsessive smoker and I don’t really know how he did it… yeah, he gained a few pounds, but lost them already… congratulations!
Good job! Keep it up!
Good Luck Becca! You’re a brave one.
Congrats on lasting so long and good luck, Becca! I’m rooting for you!
Go, Becca, Go! You can do it!!!!!
Congrats, on quitting smoking. I wish you the best luck of with sticking it out!
Good for you, and stay the course. There is do and there is do not… there is no try. I’ve never been there, but my old man did it. And I’ve gotten other pretty scary monkeys off my back. It’s more doable the more you do it.
Becca, I’m so proud of you! All the best with quitting the smoking habit, and we’ll be rallying behind you all the way.
You totally can do it I have confidence in you
Keep it up, hon – you’re doing great! V xx
Good luck to you. I quit smoking on Sunday, so I’m in the same boat of crankiness and restlessness with you. I can’t seem to stop fidgeting and have to have something in my mouth like gum or candy.
Spooky… I’ve just started my second real attempt as well. 96 hours and counting!Unfortunately I am unable to chew on anything since I had my wisdom teeth removed in hospital about 3 hours ago… Anaestetic still going strong and when I try to talk I sound like Tweety Bird!Good luck
Way to go Becca!
Yea, this is a good move. Had a few mates and family members who smoked fags quite often. Does ‘em no good. Just stick through it.
I think I remember when you tried to quit the first time, sorry that didn’t take. Best of luck this time!
everytime you want to smoke, eat an apple instead
lmfao..dont replace candies with cigs, cause then thats even a worse habit lmfao. eat apples
anyways IM CHEERING FOR YOUU GOOO YOU CAN DO IT! Now if you can quit successfully, please tell me how to do it. my dads been smoking since he was 15
EAT A LOT! If you’re going out with friends, tell all your friends to leave their cigarettes/lighters at home to keep you from thinking about SMOKING. If you eat a lot, your mind would be off smoking. =] Take it from someone who HASN’T had any experience.. *cough.
Go you!!! Have confidence ^^
I’ve gone sometimes two to three days without smoking. I’m sure you can do it.
Good job. You are doing great. We all believe in you.
Keep it up! I quit in 1998 when all my friends and family were smokers. They all thought I was crazy. Since I quit, I’ve inspired several friends and family members to quit as well! You’re an inspiration!
Quitting smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I’ve done it thousands of times! What I’m worried about is second hand smoke. My second hand always has a cigarette in it!
Hey — just stopped by for the delicious WordPress themes and happened to read this. All my best wishes! Quitting smoking isn’t an easy thing to do, so take it easy and take care of yourself. Obviously everyone’s rooting for you (you can do it!)
My dad quit smoking 10 times. lol.Good luck!
Hi there, I got ur blogsite after browsing the themes for wordpress…. Goodluck on quitting smoking. I really dunno how bad is your smoking habit, but goodluck (did i say that twice?). I’m heck of a smoker as well, so… goodluck, as I am trying to stop *my girlfriend pushed me to stop..hehehehe…* Greets from a Indonesian-Yellow Banana in Holland
Good luck girl! I am a ex-smoker too and classify myself as a smoker for life actually cause from time to time I will take a few puffs of a friends or such. Gosh I know how ya feel when the stress is on I want nothing more then a cig.
Keep going strong! My father died from throat cancer. Was so addicted to smoking. I was with him when he died. I remember thinking how unnecessary it was, and how we were being cheated out of time together because of his addiction.
Keep up the fight. I quit smoking about 6 months ago. JUST DO IT!!
I’m on the same boat as we speak. Good luck and “courage”! The hardest for me is at the computer…
I stopped smoking myself some 8 months ago and it was my third time. It went a lot easier this time because I oversmaked myself a bit at a party on a saturday (3 packs). After 5-6 days you stop beeing sick (flue like symptoms) and you should be over the worst. Good luck!:)Kim
Good luck… I hope you do better than me (3 weeks, 1 day). You can do it !
Try Zyban if you have trouble. (Also called wellbutrin). It’s done the trick for me, and two other people I suggested it to. It makes cigarettes smell and taste like rotten burning flesh, and you feel fuzzy for a few weeks, but it only took 3 months worth of that before I was off of cigarettes for good, after 10 years of smoking!Good luck!
150 hrs for me smarter
I really have respect to people how can held such a problem. I now it really hard to make over. Be strong and you will succsed.
I found your website searching for a template… and find this post..I fight with my girlfriend for the cigarret. I try to explain her, I´m worried but she don´t wanna quit to smoke…I don´t know what I do….
