Willie had a day off yesterday so we dropped by Mong Kok to get him a mobile phone. It didn’t actually take too long to get a sim card and find a phone model he liked, but afterwards we were completely pooped out, simply from battling with the crowds. I think I’ll be staying away from Mong Kok for at least the next couple of weeks, I just can’t handle the masses.
Afterwards we went to TST and once again never got around to doing anything we planned to do. We had planned to drop by the Space Museum too look at a new astronomy display they’ve put up (we are geeks and proud) then catch a movie, but instead we sat in a coffee shop for ages and then played pool. Muah.
On another note, Willie and I have spent quite a bit of time lately getting his resume together. His school was a bit crap and never taught students how to write resumes and CVs, so I’ve been showing him how.
Ooh, and one more “on another note.” JR called me the other night to say he was sorry for all the things he’s done to me and that he was proud of me for continuing my education. I made polite conversation, but really just wanted to throw my phone against a wall. Turns out he and that antisocial chick he was dating have broken up, so Willie reckons that that along with seeing me the other night accounts for the (very much unwelcome) soppiness.
