The Blossoms style is back, a bit softer and brighter than before. IE likes to hump the footer background, who knows why, but everything should still be readable. Sorry IE users, but I just can’t bring myself to spend an afternoon messing up my CSS to compensate for that thing.
A favour, please. Could you let me know how the text looks? (In either style.) I’ve just switched from my trusty pixels to relative font sizes and was wondering if you think the new sizes are: a) easier to read, b) more difficult to read, or c) looking exactly the same as the old ones.
Gracias amigos.
Its great it doesn’t look that different. I still wonderhow you do those things in your navigation though I wanna learn tem (how the change in background and how you got them to have backgrounds while they are in one simple style) Its still the same I like it
It’s just some simple CSS – check out the Listamatic for some good examples. So people don’t have to wait for another image to load when they mouseover an item, I just put the normal and hover images together and switch between them by changing the background position. If that made no sense, feel free to poke through my CSS. Just look for the #menu section.
It looks good. *thumbs up*Nothing you do ever fucks up, Becca, you should know that by now. :-/
both fonts are very easy to read, but i think the dignaty (cant spell ) one is rounder and pretty-er but thats just me, also i use IE and your site looks perfect
yes they even look good upside down
The text is a lot larger, but that’s good because it’s really easy to read now and it isn’t TOO big. The only thing is that the text in the sidebar and in the blog aren’t the same size (at least for me). Lovely layouts btw!
The text looks fine; in fact, better than ever. It’s just a bit tiny on the navigation links on your Blossoms skin, though.
i think that the font in dignity looks nicer than it did before, definetly easier on the eyes… and the font in blossoms looks good too, especially since it’s the one i use for my site hehe.
Hmm… I noticed the font type on “Blossoms” is different frrom “Dignity”. This one looks like arial font to me. Everything looks great from what I see! Congrats on another job well done! ^^
In the “Dignity” skin, the text looks exactly the same to me. As for the “Blossoms” one, the size of the Arial font appears 1 pixel smaller than I would like, but it *is* still legible.
Actually I think the readability of both are okay.
i think it looks just perfect and i’m using both Firefox and IE. i always loved this syle, so pretty and soft. that site looks really interesting. i’m going to take a look at it more so i can learn how to do css better.
The text in dignity looks the same to me. In Blossoms Arial 10, which is easy to read. The post subjects here I noticed were quite bigger, like Times 14 or something.
I’m using Mozilla on a 1024 x 768 resolution, and the text looks fine to me. The different text sizes (comments, headers, small copyright text, etc.) all looks good in relation to each other, and everything is readable.
The font is easier to read… ^_^ I think I like the former version of blossoms better
It looks okay with my browser ^_^; I’m loving the layouts
I can read all the text perfectly, I think they’re even easier to read.Nice that your blossom layout is back ^^
