Went to see Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason after dinner last night. I thoroughly enjoyed all 110 minutes of it, although Willie, the significant other, seemed a bit less delighted when leaving the cinema.
I enjoyed quite a few good laughs and I’ll admit that I teared up during a couple of scenes. As in the first movie, the fight between D’arcy (Colin Firth) and Cleaver (Hugh Grant) proved to be rather entertaining. Unlike the first one though, in this one they get wet. Oh Colin Firth does look good wet.
The most annoying part of the movie for me was how fast it moved through so many different scenes, followed by how many awkward moments they managed to cram into the first half. Funny as they were, put together it’s just overkill. All in all though, I came away smiling and feeling perky, giggly, and girly.
I haven’t seen the first Bridget jones, but from what I hear of the sequel, it does seem pretty good. I might have to go see the first one to be sure. lol. I’m glad you enjoyed the movie.
That’s exactly how I felt about the movie too. It was a very girly chick flick indeed.
The movie sounds good! Haven’t watched movies in a long long while because I tend to fall asleep in the cinema. But I should give this one a try!
Oh I really want to see this movie too I already enjoyed the first one.
I still haven’t seen it, but I must be honest … flicks that at aren’t usually my favourite. Glad you enjoyed it though … I might just go now. Lol.
*pouts* I haven’t seen any movies recently o.O Getting wet eh!
I havn’t seen either of the movies. But from the previews of the 2nd one I think I might see the first.
hehe, glad you enjoyed it. XP Not surprising Willie didn’t enjoy it as much as you, seems like a chick flick. hehe. I might go watch it with my friends. ^^
was a great film!
oooooo i wanna see that movie!!! i saw parts of the 1st one it was hilarious…
I was afraid that the sequel would not live up to the first film, so I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch “The Edge of Reason” yet… But people seem to be enjoying it, so maybe one of these days I’ll give in to curiousity and go see the movie…Eh, I can imagine my own boyfriend’s response if I dragged him with me though. He’d be quite bored and longing for something not as mushy and girly.
Oooh I’m so jealous, I really want to see it, unfortunately it’s not showing here anymore so I’ve missed out. I’ve just finished reading the book again though so that will keep me satisfied until it’s out on DVD
Aww! That movie was EH .. my mom is counting down the days for the dvd to come out lolcolin firth is HOTT
